It’s got over 50,000 residents, but it feels very small-towny.
It’s called “Westerville” but it’s north-east of Columbus…
…because the Wester brothers founded it a shit ton of years ago.
We’re about fifteen minutes away from the second-largest mall in America (Easton Towne Center).
My elementary school, Emerson, is shaped like a castle, and is the oldest school in the town (Hanby was built before but used to be a hospital, and Otterbein is a college).
Grey: Two facts about my favorite things.
My favorite TV show is Boy Meets World, and I’ve seen every single episode. I can get about a minute in and tell you everything that’s going to happen in that episode. My favorite ones are “And Then There Was Shawn” in Season 5 (the scary one!), and “The Happiest Show on Earth Pt. 2” in Season 3 because it’s in fucking Disney World.
My favorite cities in America are Chicago and Williamsburg. Chicago’s just fucking awesome, even though it’s cold as hell and the schools there never get snow days. The fucking President of the United States is from Chicago. Williamsburg, VA is just the coolest shit ever. You go back in time. Colonial Williamsburg is like heaven to us history majors. And William & Mary is there, and I really wanted to go there because Thomas Jefferson went there and that’s not the only reason because Jefferson was kind of a douche bag but it’s also a really legit school and sometimes I wish I would have actually applied but then I remember that I’d be paying $45,000 a year to get a teaching license and I realize that that’s not very smart.
